Register your cooking team for the Norfolk Big Bang Boom Wingfest on June 28th, 2024

  1. Entry fee of $20 per entry. Please be registered and paid by 2pm on Friday, June 28th.
  2. Entry fees will be paid back to the top three teams. Payout rate will be: 50% (First Place), 30% (Second Place), 20% (Third Place).
  3. Stanton Ribfest will supply the wings. Contestants can pick up wings at Skyview Lake beginning at 12pm, the day of the contest. All wings must be cooked and prepared on site at Skyview Lake. Only the wings provided by Stanton Ribfest are allowed.
  4. Contestants will bring their own grills, utensils, BBQ sauces, etc. All grills must be in the cooking area by 2pm on the day of the contest to qualify. No pets allowed on premises!
  5. There will be a meeting with all the contestants at 2:30pm to clarify any rules.
  6. The judging will be at 3:45pm. All samples must be in the provided Styrofoam containers by 3:30pm for the judges. Garnish is optional. Greens only, no shredded lettuce and no extra sauce. Foil bottom is allowed.
  7. Wings must be ready to serve to the public by 5:00pm. We will be serving the public until 9:00pm or until we run out of wings.
